Welcome to Mt. Bethel

Did you know that Mount Bethel’s history began in the early 1700’s? The La Bar brothers were amongst the first settlers. Peter, Charles and Abraham La Bar immigrated from France before 1730. They established a settlement about a half mile southwest of Slateford.

Over 300 years later this town continues to grow. While you’re enjoying the many tours in the area or kayaking down the Delaware River, stop in at the Overlook for the most delicious food on the east side of the river!

They often have live bands. The patio is shaded and cool, and it overlooks river. Good people, good music, good times.

It was so warm & inviting…very cozy!!! They had a band that was fantastic, the food was EXCELLENT…the people & staff were very friendly & helpful… And the owner’s are The Best…can’t wait to go again….had a great time!!!!!

Lower ballroom hosts Saturday night bands. Pizza is hand tossed small pies and is great.

This Place is a Gem!

Beautiful day on the outside bar area. Nice breeze while the music played , bartender was very attentive and personable. The drinks are priced just right and the pizza was great. An awesome stop!! We loved it and will be be back again. This place is a gem.

Great local bar, just switched hands and the new owners are going a great job changing the place. Nice starter menu and good drinks! The burger was great!
